Welcome to Pearl Beach Lakehouse
The Pearl Beach Lakehouse (listed on Vrbo as Pearlbeach Lakehouse) is the larger of our two cottages: a two-story house of about 2,400 square feet with five bedrooms and three full baths, sleeping up to 13. It’s built for big trips: family reunions, milestone birthdays, or several families traveling together, with a dining table that seats twelve or more, a front patio with sunset views over the lake, and an enclosed back patio room with its own kitchenette for overflow dining. Traveling with a smaller group? Our four-bedroom Lakehurst Bungalow sits on the same stretch of shoreline and sleeps 10.
Rooms and sleeping arrangements
- Beds: one king bed, two queen beds, one double bed, and a bunk room with a twin-over-twin bunk
- Extra sleeping: a queen sofa bed in the living room and a large twin futon
- Layout: one bedroom is on the first floor and has its own full bath; the other four bedrooms, including the bunk room, are upstairs
All together the house sleeps up to 13, with linens and bedding provided. There are three full bathrooms: one with a bathtub and two with showers. The first-floor en suite also holds the washer and dryer.
Kitchen and living areas
The kitchen keeps its fun retro character and is stocked for anything from burgers on the grill to Thanksgiving dinner, with a coffee maker, blender, toaster, and a dishwasher in the eating area. The dining table seats twelve or more, with extra seats at the kitchen island. The open main floor flows from kitchen to dining to a large living room with lake views, smart TVs with streaming, high-speed WiFi, and a shelf of board games. The enclosed back patio room off the main floor adds two more dining tables, a kitchenette with cabinets, a sink, and counter space, plus a high chair; it takes the overflow when the main table is full.
Outside
The front patio faces the water with a clear view of Lake Erie’s sunsets. The backyard has a green lawn with Adirondack chairs, lawn games, a fire pit, and a gas grill. From the yard, a gravel walkway leads down to a boardwalk with umbrellas and the private beach, which is shared only between the owner and two other properties.
